Volunteer with us
Since its inception in 1922 YMCA Fylde Coast  has been supported and assisted by a range of dedicated volunteers, devoting their time, skills and enthusiasm to the many activities provided for local communities by the YMCA.

Tommy’s Youth Club – Boxing Club
Do you have experience in boxing? Do you want to get involved in boxing? Do you want to help young people through a diversionary activity? Tommy’s Youth Club based at YMCA Lofthouse in Fleetwood are looking for volunteers to assist in the running and organisation of their Boxing Club. The club has just won the North West Junior Boxing Club of the year. We are looking for volunteers who want to assist in taking the club to the next level and become part of something special.

Changing Young Lives Events
Can you spare time on an ad hoc basis to help with YMCA Lakeside fundraising events and other fundraising activities throughout the year?  We are busy planning events and activities to raise funds for our YMCA Lakeside School Facility ‘Changing Young Lives’ Appeal but in order to make these successful we need the help of volunteers to work alongside our brilliant and enthusiastic staff. From an hour or two once a year to regular involvement at multiple events, any time and expertise you can spare is gratefully appreciated
Fylde Sharks
We are also currently looking for volunteers to assist us with the running of the Fylde Sharks disability swimming sessions. Volunteering opportunities exist in areas ranging from administration duties to swimming assistants. In addition, the team are in need of ASA qualified swimming teachers. The sessions offer one-to one swimming lessons to disabled children and young people up to 18 years of age. Funpod Foxes
We are currently looking for volunteers for assist with the running of the Funpod Foxes sessions. The sessions are multi sports in nature and are for children (8+) and adults with a disability. The group meets weekly Sundays at YMCA St Annes  between 2-4pm.We are  looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the running of the group, preferably with some experience in this field.If you are interested in volunteering please either fill out the form below or contact the  ‘Funpod’ mobile on  07518 048 571
