Last year we supported at least 30,000 children, young people and adults across Fylde, Wyre, Lancaster and Cumbria. The main duties will include:

  • To comply with the Pool Safe Operating Procedures at all times.
  • To maintain a vigilant watch of the swimming pool areas in accordance with the operating procedures and take necessary action to ensure the safety of all pool users and staff.
  • To check the safety of equipment in areas of responsibility and report any damage or malfunction of equipment, plant or building fabric to the Duty Manager or General Manager immediately after discovery.

The successful candidate will be accountable and responsible for providing housing management support to service users of the scheme to ensure they have the relevant information and support to successfully manage their accommodation.

The position will include evening and weekend work, a flexible approach is essential.

Previous administration experience is essential for this position. Applicants should be educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

The main duties will include:

  • To complete sign-ups with service users commencing the service, including full induction and application for Housing Benefit.
  • Support service users to effectively manage their rent accounts, ensuring that housing benefit entitlement is secured.
  • Be responsible for conducting weekly accommodation checks with service users and reporting and managing repairs to the accommodation.
  • Support service users to develop understanding of their rights and responsibilities in a Tenancy and develop skills to effectively manage their accommodation.
  • Monitor and update application process to ensure that applicants and service users are informed about the service and their responsibilities for the accommodation.

The main duties will include:

  • To lead a team of youth workers in delivering an outreach session at St Andrews Church, Bolton.
  • To work alongside community volunteers and support the process of their training and development.
  • To plan and deliver a range of weekly activity sessions that can be young person led, innovative and creative and that supports their personal social cultural and spiritual potential.
  • To build relationships with children and young people though youth work, coaching and mentoring.
  • To support staff and young people and raise awareness of current issues.
  • Facilitate weekly/monthly team meetings to discuss performance/ progress.
  • To monitor and evaluate the impact of the project.
  • To work within and uphold Safeguarding and Health & Safety requirements

As the project Co-ordinator you will be responsible for coordinating the planning, delivery and evaluation of the detached outreach project.

The main duties will include:

  • To ensure effective delivery of the Y-Youth programme across The Lancaster Area.
  • Support the development of Targeted Youth Support and risk-taking behaviour services across Lancaster and wider, as appropriate.
  • Coordinate the planning, delivery and evaluation of a programme of detached outreach within deprived communities.
  • To recruit and engage with young people and encourage participation in the Y-Youth project.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Children and young people through a range of youth work, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • -Build and maintain excellent relationships with both partners and people living within the community.
  • Deliver/ plan delivery of individual support sessions for children and young people.
  • Support children and young people to gain a range of positive outcomes which are beneficial to them and their development
